Contingent Investigators Insurance (Remote, UK)

We are currently recruiting for Contingent Investigators for a 12-month, fully remote assignment with a leading financial services organisation.

About the Role

As a Contingent Investigator, you will investigate insurance disputes, reviewing both sides of each case and making fair, reasonable decisions. You will begin with a comprehensive remote training programme to ensure you are fully supported and set up for success.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate complaints across insurance products, including motor, home/buildings, legal expenses, and more.
  • Provide clear, persuasive, and credible accounts of complaint outcomes.
  • Handle customer enquiries professionally via telephone, maintaining rapport and composure.
  • Manage competing deadlines with excellent time management skills.

Requirements

  • Experience resolving complaints and making decisions.
  • Knowledge of the general insurance market (motor, home/buildings, or other insurance products).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently from home in the UK with your own equipment.

  • Insurance pricing, renewals, misrepresentation, and non-disclosure

Please note: Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) experience is not required.

Compensation

  • Pre-accreditation: Umbrella £210/day | PAYE £162.14/day | Deemed PSC £188/day
  • Post-accreditation: Umbrella £260/day | PAYE £202.50/day | Deemed PSC £225.30/day

Details

  • Start Date: 20th October 2025
  • Duration: 12 months (full-time, inside IR35)
  • Location: Fully remote (must be working within the UK)
  • Equipment: Candidate must provide own equipment (laptop, internet, etc.)
